Can anyone tell me the reason why a Shih Tzu puppy drools?

I have a Shih Tzu dog but it tends to drool whenever it sees my brothers dog which is a Silky Terrier. Anyone know why?

Dogs can salivate when they are excited as well as hungry. Maybe your dog gets very excited when it sees other dogs. I have a shih-tzu and she has never drooled. I don't think that's a very common problem with that breed. You should check to make sure there are no mouth injuries and mention it to your vet next time you go in for a visit.

I have a 2 yr old shih tzu and she has never done this !! So my guess would be its just your dog !!! Is your nog a male ??? try getting it fixed
