I prefer Bali because of it's vastly different culture.I personally don't care about the nightlife stuff as I dont drink.

Yes, Bali is interesting because of the strong Hindu influences, despite the fact that Indonesian is mostly a Muslim nation. Bali has rich culture and looks beautiful. I also like going to places/countries where they speak non-English languages, and of course, Bahasa Indonesia is not English.
Because I am American, I also think that Bali is just more exotic, because Hawaii is another US State. I don't really like beaches and stuff, so I would be more interested in exploring the culture of Bali.
