if you havent, make sure and be checked for thyroid function,,, while the hair loss may just be a result of having given birth,,,, by 6 months time, it should be stopping, i would think, many women with no prior history of thyroid problems experience it after having given birth,,,,, a blood test can check your levels,,,,, low thyroid especially causes hair loss , other then that, i dont know of anything you can do,,,, the hair is programmed by hormones as to when to fall out,,,, its not anything you are putting on it that will cause it,,, although using a mild shampoo like baby type may help,,,,,,

When you are pregnant, your body stops producing certain hormones, or at least slows down production, that control how much hair falls out when you are not pregnant. So you stop losing hair, even though your body continues to grow more hair. This is why many women claim to have much more thick and luxurious hair during pregnancy. Once you give birth to the baby, your body begins to regulate again, and ups its production of the hormones that cause hair loss. It just seems like you are losing a lot, you are just shedding old hair that should have fallen out over the the entire pregnancy and didn't due to low testosterone levels.

Don't worry - you now have about 2 to 3 times as much hair on your head now as you did before you became pregnant, so it is highly unlikely that you will lose all your hair and become bald. There is no product that will slow or stop the hair loss, you will continue to lose startling amounts of hair until your body gets back to normal hormone levels.

As far as the tangles go, try a leave in conditioner/detangler - usually they come in a pump spray - and skip your usual creme conditioner in the shower. Comb out the tangles gently to avoid breakage.

Unfortunately I don't think there's anything you can do but hang in there until it has run it's course. I have a friend who completely freaked when she had her baby and all her hair started falling about. (She's quite the prissy gal). She worked in cosmetics and she really couldn't find anything that would make it stop. I think it's because women have TONS more hair grow in while they're pregnant-taking prenatal pills is partly to blame for that one. If you've been dealing with it for 6 months, you don't have too much longer to go. Just gotta stick it out on this one. If you're a pony-tail type, you might want to lay off those-I know they tend to break hair and make more fall out. Hang in there and good luck with your new baby :)

I've heard that hair will fall out, but mine didn't. In fact, I didn't notice any difference. I had to get it cut because it looked like a lion's mane.

Don't think that clumps of falling out hair are normal. Call your doctor's office and run it by him/her or one of the nurses. It may be more than the usual post-pregnancy shedding.

Are you still taking your prenatal vitamins? If not start taking them again. I've never been pregnant but take them all the time to help my hair and nails.

poti saincerci sa folosesti produse profesionale impotriva caderii parului,de preferat sa fie pe baza de plante.Daca problema persista atunci cu siguranta aceasta vine din interior. In acest caz ti-as recomanda sa faci o vizita doctorului si o tura de analize
