And i feel so stupid that i didn't know how to appreciate. I feel so stupid that i lye him. I love him so much and he does too, but he doesn't trust me anymore ... so what am i suppose to do?I kind of realize i'm addicted to cigaretes and i need to do something to quit. Like this morning i woke up and i felt like i need a cigarette and i was in my mind....no no i hate cigarettes... i need to quit, and i feel it so hard to do it. I think i'm to spoiled and i don't know how to appreciate anything.

I think your being way to hard on yourself just cause your a smoker. Big F'ing Deal. You need to quit on your own terms and it doesn't sound like he allows you that. Your putting yourself down and cigarettes are very addictive. He should be praising you for even trying to quit for him. Present behavior is indicative of future behavior. Step back and try to realize how ridiculous it is that you are putting yourself down cause you were smoking a cigarrete. It's not like you were cheating. On your part though maybe you need to say thing's like I am quitting little by little or my goal is to stop within the next two months. Don't guarantee him that you've stopped and then allow yourself to get caught. If all he has to be worried about is you smoking a cigarette then he needs to chill out. Go smoke a cigarett if that's what you want. As for not being able to breathe without him, that's nonsense. You were able to breathe up until the day you met him wihtout him, don't allow yourself to be convinced that you are nothing without this person. That's just BS! Good Luck . Be Firm and let him know you are trying your hardest. '-)

Being spoiled has nothing to do with it, a good percentage of the population in the USA are addicted to something. Yes it is going to be hard to quit, I'm sure you are going to have friends around you that smoke and will ask if you want one. If your boyfriend loves you as much as he says he does then he will be there to help you through your withdrawls and support you all the way! It will be a long hard road I can promise you that. You have the will power to write the question here on Yahoo then you have the power to quit! I know you can do it as long as you put your mind to it! Remember it's all in your head, You control it, I have alittle something that will maybe help you in your quest to stop smoking. Read it a few times until it makes sence, trust me it will help you reach you goal

well first get your self together and try to do the right thing like stop lying and stop smoking but let him know that if you feel like you cant stop smoking cigarettes that its a part of u and if he doesnt like it he has to make a choice either for u to try am ber togeother or not be together with or without the smoking. Try to stop smoking 4 a lil bit see how it works a least show him you are tryin that way there can be trust between the two. Trust me i know where u are coming from cause i smoke too and so does my boyfriend but i smoke more then he does a he is now tellin me take it easy.

You are addicted to cigarettes and simply need more help to quit. I am sure that once you look on the internet you will find some resourses to help you kick the habit. Apologize to him and tell him you are really struggling with this and it was harder then you imagined. He probably has had friends who have tried to quit as well. Next time you try to quit have a better plan with some help. Government of Canada has some information and tips of quitting as probably do many other sites. Good luck and I know how hard it is as I went through it myself and it took me several attempts before I managed it.

It's hard to quit smoking. Your bf needs to understand that it's not something you can give up at the drop of a hat. As long as you're making an effort. He should appreciate that.

It's much easier to quit smoking if you have someone to quit with. There is also a laser surgery (well, not really surgery, more like a procedure ) that is available in Mokena, Illinois and Chicago, Illinois, and possibly other states, i'm not sure. But my aunt got that because she had a small tumor in her lung, and had to quit smoking because she was going to have surgery. It worked for her, so maybe it will work for you!

I think you should worry about it a little less. Everyone who really wants to quit does. If he really loves you he will understand you have an addiction and allow you to work through it on your own time. Forcing it only makes it worse. Don't let it or him make your descisions for you. you smoke when you want one and when you don't, Don't...

Quitting tobacco is hard, go get nicotine gum or the patches, that way you can show him that you are trying to quit, and that you need his help.
