In the film ‘Meet the Parents’, Robert De Niro’s character owns a pedigree cat called ‘Jinxy’. I thought it was a Himalayan breed, but when I look up ‘Himalayan cats’ on the internet they don’t look anything like Jinxy??
Does anyone know what breed / colour point Jinxy actually is?

He's definately not a Birman cat as they all have white paws & though he could be a Ragdoll - his nose is not quite as long as as a Ragdoll & his head is more rounded.

you can see that he has a fairly short nose - that seems to be a characteristic of Persian LongHair or Himalyan cats.

He's a seal point & not a young one as his fur has begun to darken quite a lot on his body.

Jinxy is either a Birma or a small Ragdoll cat.

It is quite possible he's a burman cat

Jinxxy is auctually a siamese tabby mix my mom used to have on and he looked quite similar to Jinxxy
