Eye drops from your vet? Or just eye drops?
This dog needs to be seen by a vet. We can't diagnose the problem and prescribe treatment, here.
If the dog has already seen the vet, and the eye drops given to you are not working, you need to call your vet's office and tell them so. They can recommend another course of treatment.

First off you should check with a vet to see if the eyes are infected if they are the vet will give you something to clear it up with. If the vet gave you the original eye drops then i suggest you take your pet back as they shouldn't be sore or sticky.
The tea bag does sooth the eyes for the dog but salt is a no no as you will irritate it and make it sting also will add to the irritation for the dog.

Do not use human eye drops for dogs.
He might have an infection in which case he'll probably be prescribed triple antibiotic ointment. He may be checked for a corneal scratch too. Call the vet and give the symptoms, he'll probably need to be seen.

Best to go to see the vet. You may need stronger drops, if your dog has an infection, for example, something containing antibiotics. These are prescription only, and can only be obtained after seeing a vet.

It sounds like a bacterial infection called conjunctivitus; if bathing hasn't worked its time for the vets and its urgernt; it can cause ulcers and pus to develop in both eyes. In the worst cases the dog will end up blind.
If you don't get the proper treatment for this you risk prosecution for neglect so don't waste any time.

Did you get those eye drops from the vet? I would think (if you had gone to the vet) that your vet would have given you an alternative in case the drops don't work.

Is it a dark tear stain? Try putting vinegar in the drinking water for a few days then increase each day to about a teaspoon. Otherwise get him to a vets.

tea bags they work like a charm just steep a tea bag and let it cool a little, squeeze it enough just so it won't drip, then rub it on your dogs eye(use a new tea bag for the other eye) then if he'll let ya have him lie down and leave the tea bag on for 5-10. not neccessary but it helps. do this a couple times and it should fix it nicley. i have always used this for my animals, kids, myself and it really does work. good luck

Bathe your dogs eyes with warm water and a teabag. It worked for my dog. Whatever you do, do not bathe his eyes with any salt solution, this will only sting his eyes and he will be wary of you touching his eyes after.
