If you want to study some god or another, you probably have a religious vocation. That's all it really is. It's not as if there are actually any gods calling people to work for them.

r u randy,

In response to your answer, my husband is a pastor, and he was very successful in the job he had before. At his age he should not have been in the position he was in, but he was. My husband acceled at what he did becase he gave it his all.

To answer the question, it really depends on where you are, and there are no set "signs". I know in the south, there are some pastors that wear suits to the office everyday. I know this because I lived in a couple of states in the south.

We live in the west now because that is where God called us to go. And it just depends on the day. When he preaches, he typically wears some khakis, and a polo. I don't think anyone would care if he wore jeans and a t-shirt, which i know he is not opposed to, and when we get the church started would be typical. In the west for the most part, people are more laid back when it comes to appearance.

The difference about him, but you could tell this in other jobs and partime jobs he had, and everyone commented on this, was he was always so happy and joyful. They couldn't beleive he was always smiling. I would always tell them the reason he was.
