I love Miami Ink and would love to get a tattoo from there. I was thinking about taking a week off from vacation and maybe just zooming on down there and getting one. Anyone got any ideas?

do you want to be on the show? or just get tattooed? you would have to send in an audition tape to get on the show. but you'll still need to call and make an appointment for the artist that you want to get tattooed by. and like everybody said. chris garver and kat only tattoo in miami when they are filming. they actually live in los angeles. good luck with your tattoo!

I was going to go down there and get tattood. If it is a time where they are filming then No you can't get tattood, it is only the people that they place on the show, if its an off time then you have to remember that Kat Von D nor Chris Garver will be there, they both live in LA and only go out for the show. You most likely will not get tattood by anyone on the cast in the off-time...they have a couple other tattoo artist there that are tattooing while they are off doing promotions and stuff like that, finally do know that the waiting list is about 2-4 months, depending...so if you want to seriously go down and get tattood, do know that you could be making an appt. for March or later.

I think you should just zoom on down there like you said. You have to remember that just because their on television doesn't mean that you can't walk into their business just like any other tattoo shop. If this were the case they would never make money. I don't think that a person would have to go through TLC to get an appointment with them because their a public business that deals with the public. Just go ahead and go down there and get your tattoo done. Good luck, and I hope you have fun. Maybe you'll get a chance to be a part of the show.

Stop and read this.I know somone who got a tattoo done by Cat.It turned out HORRIBLE!It was sopoted to be a black and white swan.It didn't look right at all.When she first told me who had done it I didn't belive her,but she showed me pics of her doing it.It ran her over $800,and for the size even if it was good work,it wasn't worth it.I met her in a tattoo parlor while getting my newest tattoo.I guess if you really wanted to get it done down there then just get one of the others to do it.BTW it was not done at miami ink,it was just done by cat.

You can go onthe website, call and make an appt. Waiting period, just get it lined up with your travel plans. By the time you get there it may even be differnt people in cast- Chris Garver or Kat might be going, who knows- have fun.

DO you live in miami? You shuold just get the number from yellowpages.com. Call, see who will be there. If you wan to get it done by Kat Von D, you have to keep in mind,she doesn't actually live there :P

ok now you have to go to new york and make a video of yourself with a story about why you want a tatoo. then you have a interview. next you wait for them to call you back and then you go and meet up with ur assigned tatooist for eg ami , then he interviews you, you go back home and then he will call you when he wants you to cume in.#
go on the miami ink website , it tells you.
i got a tat there and had to wait for like 2 monthes

depends if you want a tattoo from the people you see on TV. none of them actually work there. they are flown in especially for cameos on the show. most of them have their own shops, i think at least one is in california somewhere.
