Would love it to be a direct flight and definetly return... don't seem to be able to find cheaper than £122 with BA... thought booking in advance was supposed to be cheaper?

Try Ryanair. Or Easy Jet. I flew to Rome and back by Ryanair in November it cost only £43.00.
