It would appear that from all the answers reeived that I`ve deleted the System Restore facility by using ccleaner. Is there anyway this can be recovered. Give me any bad news gently, Its my daughters Comp. Thanx

System Restore facility is not deleted.you clean out da restore potins there gone sorry

You have probably not removed the ability to create restore points, just the ones that were there. BTW, I've never seen CCleaner remove the restore points. To create a restore point, go to start/programs/accessories/system tools/system restore and create a restore point. This will also tell you if the restre function is still available.

CCleaner doesn't delete the System Restore facility. Where did you get that information?

check for a back up made by ccleaner or you might try
"scanreg /restore" (without quotes) type that into run in the start menu and it should show up with 4 dates to chose from. you might want to check and see if restore is even enabled if someone disabled it well they lost all the restore points as soon as they disabled it

when the "System Restore" detects that some changes have done in your system it creates a point on the calendar , it can allow you to restore the files that were deleted and even change the configuration to the way it was..

right click on my computer go to properties then restore points..tab in there u can disable it then ..it will automatically go off

look for something says ..trun off system restore

I don't think u can delete that one.I think u have to reinstall your OS
