Jesus DID walk ON the water. It was the Isrealites that were allowed to walk on a path of separated water to avoid the Egyptians pursuing them.
The power of God is fantastic. He still does many miracles among those who have become His children.
You might want to get to know the Lord and see how these things are done even in our time:
Matt 17:14-20
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 "Lord, have mercy on my son," he said. "He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him."
17 "O unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me." 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
20 He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

It was Moses, not Jesus. And, he did not part the waters of the Red Sea-it was a mistranslation. The name of the sea was Suf-the Sea of Reeds. This was a low lined area filled with reeds.
What caused it---------Moses and the Exodus happened at the same time the huge volcano of Santorrini erupted, and this caused a tsunami where Moses was, and the water swept out to sea and the Israelites walked thru toward freedom.. The tsunami came in, and the Egyptians were drowned. This same thing happened in the tsunami recently in SE Asia..........the water receded before the huge waves came in.
I should add-the miracle was not that G-d parted the waters for the Israelites. The miracle was that the Israelites were there when the tsunami happened.....perfect timing.

Jesus walked ON water.
Moses parted the red sea to walk through it.
Of course, there's no real proof that either are even true...

He didn't move it, He walked on top of it, like the ocean was the floor beneath His feet. You must be thinking of Moses parting the Red Sea.
