You wrap it the same as a nivi style, but instead of taking the saree under your right shoulder to take across your chest over your left shoulder, take the saree directly OVER your right shoulder, and take one edge and slip it into your petticoat on your left side. There you have it :)

Let me go all '7 yards' with you.
1) after under clothes, wear a light weight and light coloured (preferably white) slip and a tight collarless tight blouse to match the sari.
2) Take the end that is not to b presented and tuck the horizontal part under the waist of the slip, keeping a sensible length to your ankle.
3) keep tucking until you get to the end of the sari
4) Leave enough to through over your shoulders
Now, if you look like Manjula in the Simpson's, than you have got it right.
Alternatively, find an east Indian neighbour to help you.

hi , im sammy jonathans wife. i think you take the pallu from the bac 2 the front so the du pata would be in the front nad less pleats. also u would place on the rite shoulder
