He wants to be reassured that sex with him is better than with your ex. He want to feel great and special, He could think that your ex might have been better so he feels competetive

alotof it is ego..
every man does it its not just your bf ive been married 10 years and he still does it.
they hate knowing you've been with anyone else if its 1 or 10 people.
trust me no answer will make him happy just ride it out it should come up less and less
but remember hes just your bf you can stop it now by bringing up his ex turn it on him.
im sure you can see what he feels he doesnt want to think of you being like that with another man like you dont like thinking of him being with a girl like that.
if it doesnt last remember next bf you only been sexual with one person its easier for him.
i have a male friend who has said he wish the girl would lie to him its easier in the long run.
make sure you stroke his ego and dont talk about said relationships ever .
i wish i could go back when i first met my husband and take back all the things i said playing my self up to be this popular interresting girl when in facted it turned and bite me in the rear.

he sounds a little insecure and a little jealous,,this may go away with time.just because you know the difference in the love making you have with him and what you used to have with any ex,s,he doesnt but it shouldnt be an issue.make him feel special yes,,but dont go down the road of having to explain yourself all the time,,this wont do you or him any good,,he must drop it or you and he will not progress.

In a word, yes. He wants you to confirm he is better than your ex bf. Don't fall into it. Just tell him he is better and doesn't have to fish for compliments, if your old bf was better then you would still be with him....
