Don't use a cannon to kill a mosquito. Try taking a shower and filling your ear with clean water to dilute the germs and wash as much as possible of it out.

Don't panic! Water is full of germs, but you have strong (natural) defense system, too. You have chance to get an infection, but at the same time you have chances not to get an infection. (So, breathe!)
If you are a person usually get a lot of ear waxes, and haven't irrigated your ears for a while, then you have higher chance to get infection. Go to a doctor to get your irrigation, it will take care of the water, too. Also, if your ear drum has been torn before, go to the ear doctor.
If you don't have problem with your ears before, you just need to warm up the ear so ear canal can open up. Hair dryer make sense but the air blow can blow water back, too. You can have a hot pack on the water logged ear and tilt your head to direct water down. If you don't have hot pack, soak a clean towel with water, squeeze all the water out with your hand, then microwave the wet towel for about a minute. Whatever you do, please don't get burn on yourself! :-)

Dont listen to that one guy, its not alcohol you pour in your ears!! Its peroxide!! I used to get infections easy, doctor poured peroxide in my ears, instant relief!! It doesnt hurt at all, just tingles and its cold. Just fill the cap with it, then have someone pour it in your ear, then flip over after a few seconds and put a towel under your ear then fill up the next one. Problem solved!
