James 1:20 "For the wrath of man does not accomplish the righteousness of God."
This shows that the righteousness of God does not need the help of man's wrath, which is of no use in the carrying out of God's righteousness.
A sister verse to James 1:20 would be
Hebrews 10:30 "For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay"; and again, "The Lord will judge His people."".

"For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God."
We must be swift to hear, slow to speak (for the tongue is like a two-edged sword) and especially slow to anger, for anger does not display righteousness.
Compare this to Proverbs 15:18 & Proverbs 19:19
