A lot of people tell me I have pretty eyes, but does that make me ugly? Whenever I meet a stranger they see me and say "you have really nice eyes"...that is kind of hurting me. Does that make the rest of my face unnatractive?

It's a compliment, take it on face value. It's hard to know what to say when you have just met a girl. If a guy said "You have a nice nose" or "You have a great ***" it will not go down too well most likely. Whereas nice eyes is a safe compliment. Don't worry!

Are you that shallow? Come on, anytime someone tells someone they have nice, cute, pretty, or whatever somethings, they are complimenting you and perhaps conveying a message with it! Take the compliment and do what you want with it but don't knock yourself because they don't see all of you! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but they also say that the eyes are the window to the soul! Everybodys got good input for you here.

No it does not make you ugly. Take it as a compliment and read nothing more into it. People notice your eyes first, thats a good thing. The eyes are the window to the soul! There is this Spanish Model, cant remember her name, but when ever people talk about her they always mention her eyes, and how pretty they are. She is a model so she cant be ugly.

Its something that makes you different from everyone else, your eyes ´shine´ on you. Think of it like this when people talk to each other, they look you in the eyes. Someone who is talking to you will notice your eyes straight away....

I agree with the 1st answer from Brian. Why can't people just take the F/n compliment? Do they have to give you a list of other stuff in order for you to be okay with their comment about your eyes? Then perhaps what you fear could actually be the case????? Would you rather they say, you have nice eyes, you fat ugly cow? Would that put your pathetic mind at ease? Take my hint and their compliment and get on with your life. No one owes you anything more.

Definetely not. That is one of the first things I would notice. It just means that people are taking notice to you. It would be weird saying that you also have a nice mouth, ears, and nose along with the eyes. Don't look too deep into it.

no it doesnt make you ugly... its a compliment to your eyes and should be taken as such. just because one part of you is beautiful doesnt mean that the rest of you is ugly. and if complete strangers are saying you have lovely eyes... they mean you have nice eyes. dont take it as an insult, take it as a compliment.

Not at all! I get compliments on my eyes all the time, and Def more than anything else, but I know Im a good looking girl. Dont feel bad, Just realize that others can appreciate a good set of peepers.

Not at all....it probably means that your eyes are the first thing that people notice. Someone told me I had nice hands once, and I admit that I wondered the same thing that you expressed in your question. So, my guess is that you're probably very attractive, but your eyes are what is most distinguishable from other girls. Enjoy having 'attention getting eyes'--and use them to wink at cute guys!! LOL

If strangers are even telling you this is means they are so attractive they have to seek you out, stop you and compliment you. Compliments from strangers are the ultimate form as they have no reason to lie or benefit from it. So take it with a smile and say thank you.

Your EYES are windows of your soul girlfriend. Thats a big compliment and take it as such. If you think the rest of you is ugly then do something about it .
