Whats the benifit during highschool? Does a person have to have all A's to qualify? If you have any information on doing independent studies please list.

One benefit is getting to study something specific that you are interested in. It is also something that you may do in college, so the experience might be good. That said, it really depends on what subject you are doing an independent study in, and why you want to do it.
As far as the qualifications, that depends on your school. You really ought to be asking your school counselor this question.
