I don't need to.

I'm a follower of the teachings of Jesus.

He left us one commandment, Love thy neighbor.

The other ten are for people who can't understand the one he left for us.

Love and blessings Don

Keeping the ten commandments has never been a problem for me. I haven't violated those ten comandments eversince I was born again. They are not difficult to obey but if you keep listening to the Devil it will be hard not to.
Here is the easiest way to recognise that the devil wants you to be rebelious, disobedient or he wants you to violate God's Word, he will ALWAYS ask you a question, for example, did god really say this? Surely God will not punish you if you sin because he loves you and he is a God that forgives and before you know it you have sinned.
So the best way to not violate is to read the Bible and keep on praying.

It's no struggle at all, I have broken number 1. in the Jewish Protestant Catholic / Lutheran / New Church versions, in that I am an atheist, thus do not believe in God in the first place.

However, this instantly makes me ok with number 2 in the Jewish & Protestant versions. I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

Being an atheiest makes it easier for me not to construct a false god, I don't suffer from this problem in the first place.

As for number 3, Jewish Protestant (2 in Catholic / Lutheran / New Church ), I am sensitive to others feelings, and thus do not like to offend poor souls sensitve to this religous mythology, so tend not to use any gods name in vain.

I always remember to rest onbce a week, and unlike the religious fools, don't work hard at impressing the jones at some phony church service full of hypocrites with false smiles. so that is 4 ok (3 for some)

I have always honoured my folks, and continue to do so by using the brain I inherited from them to not fall for ridicallous myths or supersitions. so 5 ok (4 for some)

I am not a psycho, so no murder, don't screw around much so I am just about ok with the adultury, - well no, I fail there, but don't care to ruin my favourite passtime - and do not steal. I get on well with my neighbours, but don't fancy his wife, and the house is the same as mine in construction, so there is nothing to covert there.

2 out of ten not bad, and I don't try to follow them, its just common sense and good manners.

The foundation of the 10 commandments is the 2 Jesus gave - Love your God..., Love your neighbor....

Love basically. But do not try to be more loving...be Love itself. The rest will fall into place.

By trying to keep the real sabbath. It's difficult when you work all week, and only have Saturday and Sunday to do the things you need to do at home, go to movies, etc.. I grew up thinking Sunday was the sabbath, but then read the bible and realized I was wrong, so the change is difficult. My son's sports games are always on Saturday, so I'm not really sure how to handle that. We go to church on Sunday, and its hard to change your whole lifetime habit of considering that the sabbath. I really need to figure out how to deal with getting all my grocery shopping and housework done by sundown on Fridays and how to deal with the games on Saturday, without feeling I'm dishonoring the sabbath.

Same as last year. Go to church twice a week to keep my strength. Read my bible to understand God's word. Share the Gospel with others like Jesus commanded us to do.

pick a commandment outside of stealing and murder, and i'm gonna struggle with it, i've definitely accepted that. it is a good idea to have a strategy though.

self-awareness, discipline, humility are some good ideas.
