Do you believe in curses, or do you think that things described as 'curses' are actually coincidental?

I think that if you believe someone has put a curse on you, you will be more negative and thus an accident is more likely to happen. Or if bad things happen you will notice them more and blame them on the curse (e.g. if you miss a bus, don't get a job offer you want, have a row with your partner. things which you experience on a regular basis but now you'll blame them on the curse and notice them more). It's like if you're wanting a job and are negative about your chances, you're less likely to get it. If that makes sense?!

The opposite of the word curse is bless. The only difference between these words is whether we see the act as positive or negative. If a person has the ability to do one, then they must have the ability to do the other. If I were to say that a person has the ability to bless another, then they would automatically have the ability to curse another (whether they would choose to use their ability to curse is another subject). Yes, I believe that some people have the ability to curse and bless others. The intent of the person doing the act and others' opinion of it (positive or negative) determines whether it is considered a curse or a blessing.

Curses are very real and quite powerful. Their are generational curses and once off curses. You can see biblical examples such as King David having a sexual immorality problem in committing adultery, then his son Solomon then his grandson Absalom...there is a pattern. Usually in modern times you can see it in drinking problems travelling through family trees, or separation. They can be controlled by appeasing the demons responsible as in witch doctor patches...but the real fix is the blood of Jesus Christ which can break any curse.

Yes I do believe in curses. If you did something wrong a person can curse you and that curse will hurt you. In the Bible it says if you're a child of God such things (witchcraft, and curses you don't deserve etc) will not harm you.

i believe that the BELIEF of the curse is what makes coincidental events occur - power of the mind. The mind is a very mysterious tool that will never be totally understood.

No I don't. I believe that if you have a positive mindset, good things seem to come your way more often. No magic here, it's just that the little stumbling blocks are nothing more than an annoyance, easily overcome, barely noticeable.

If you walk around in a blue study all the time, thinking life's out to get you, then every little molehill becomes a mountain, so it seems that bad things happen more often.

People curse themselves with their mindset.

Psychology is a curious thing;
people who are believe that they are cursed are likely to suffer from that curse, because they believe that they should.

if you 'curse' someone without their knowledge, they will not suffer any magically effects.
(obviously, if you hide - for example, a dead animal - in their house, as part of the curse they could become sick from the rodents and germs that would be associated with the corpse - that would not be a magical effect though)

Sure. Play my silly game for a second.
You go to New Orleans and go to a voo doo party and at that party a weird guy comes up and curses you with endless illness. Then the next day you sneeze and think "OH NOOO!" then you eat some crabs and get heartburn "ITS HAPPENING". All he did was call your attention to something you would normally ignore. But,,, The curse is still effective just not magical.
I hope that makes sense.

I believe in generational curses. This is the type that if the grandfather was an alcoholic, and then the father was an alcoholic, and now the child is, etc..

It works for those who believe in it. Sometimes it helps by making people do righteous things fearing the curse.
