Psa 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

HATE EVIL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ ~~~
No.
Promotion of evil, darkness, and death is not being shoved down the Christians throat. Do you have any intelligence at all? And absolutely nothing is being shoved down the Atheist's throat. Why don't you make up another question without the bias and lies?
A genuine question from someone with intelligence would be refreshing.
A person who discriminates or doesn't respect homosexual is not Christian because Christian came from the word Christ meaning followers and believers of Lord Jesus Christ.
God does not discriminate people. Even if you are homosexual, disabled person or whatever. As stated in 1 Timothy 2:4. "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth."
To come to the knowledge truth and to know real doctrines of our Lord Jesus Christ just visit these websites:
Just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her). Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible. It needs to be laid at the cross and repented of.
Christians should pray for the salvation of the homosexual the same they would any other person in sin. They should treat homosexuals with the same dignity as they would anyone else because, like or not, they are made in the image of God. However, this does not mean that Christians should approve of their sin. Not at all. Christians should not compromise their witness for a politically correct opinion that is shaped by guilt and fear.
In fact the following verses should be kept in mind when dealing with homosexuals.
"Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were, with salt, so that you may know how you should respond to each person," (Col. 4:5-6).
"But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith," (1 Tim. 1:5).
You do not win people to the Lord by condemning them and calling them names. This is why God says to speak with wisdom, grace, and love. Let the love of Christ flow through you so that the homosexuals can see true love and turn to Christ instead of away from Him.
Christians are against homosexuality because it is an abomination of God. The Bible plainly states that....
Athiests do not believe in heaven or hell. I do not feel an athiest is shoving anything down my throat.
Oh sure, you have people going around preaching to everyone they see but I have never been that way..
I respect other religions, if that is what they want to believe, it's fine with me..
I do witness but not aggressively..
I have talked to athiests and they never said one word about my christianity and I did not discuss them being an athiest. I went home/church and prayed for their salvation...
God Bless
Probably...if you are talking to one who is a throat shover of their own agenda.
Me? Christian here, with a homosexual son...who I love dearly and see how he struggles with his lifestyle. He is nineteen and no one he knows is in a monogomous relationship. That is what he wants for himself.
I know that God loves us all and desires for everyone to be saved.
I know that I have no right to judge anyone...I am too busy anyway trying to figure out my own life and my own relationship with God.
I know that God loves us, whether we love him or not...and whether we are doing the next right thing or the next wrong one.
He is an equal opportunity God.
The TRUE Christian witnesses to someone. IF the atheists do not want to be in the Religion Forum, there are other Forums in YA. I for one am glad they are here. One of them may see them self as they are, and decide to follow Christ and turn their life around.
Amazing....
Christianity accepts all people. Irregardless.
Atheism is trying to stop people from going to Christianity.
Who is trying to offend who?
Freedom of choice. For most of us.
