I've been dating my boyfriend for over 7 months and I feel we're doing great. He's been hurt by his ex, who dumped him while I he was still deeply in love with her. She recently made contact again and they speak online occasionally. A week ago, she told him (online) she regret dumping him and wants him back. He told her he's happy with me...she responded that she's happy for him and that she would leave us alone. He STILL talks to her online...and I can't help but feel he still has feelings for her.
How am I supposed to act? Should I give him space or should I spent even more time with him in order to forget her and show him I'm right for him?

you cant make someone love you and want to be with you! you just have to trust the fact that he loves you and wants to be with you! If you try and make him love you, you could run him off. i will tell you, i have been in the same exact place he is in right now. My ex wanted me back when she found out i was over her and happy. But i told her that i was over her and didnt want my heart broke again.... and now we are friends and talk every now and then. My GF knew about it, and she trusted me and we are still together... going on 4.5 years!

Talk to him about it. Try to figure out the reason why he is doing this, and make your side of this dilemma known. ex: Would he like it if you were talking to your ex boyfriend who still has feelings for you? You can't tell him what to do, but he may not know how much it's really hurting you. The ex-girlfriend obviously doesn't have much character, if she did she would know that your current boyfriend had something good going on. She would also understand that he's happy now and telling him would be putting him in a tough situation. He obviously is crazy about you, because if he wasn't he wouldn't had turned her down. So he's probably over her and if not, he likes you more.

girl talk to him dont assume anything coz maybe they are just talking like pals or she's just tryn out her luck and he doesnt harbour any hard feelings coz you have been there for him. honey do this if its killing u so much, ask him abt it coz you may have the wrong picture and he might feel like u had never trusted him from the beginning so ask him dnt show him that it bothers you a lot but just tell him sme thing like you are concerned abt him and afraid that she might hurt him again dnt show him that you are feeling insecure otherwise it will drive straight from you and into his ex's arms again

Well you cant really do anything but ask him do he wants to go back with someone who will break his heart again or stay with someone who is willing to work things out. Just stay with him and show him that you have his back. show him what he would be missing if he left.Also show him what he has is real

it is understandable that u would feel insecure about it, he may still be deeply in love, or he may not be. definitely i would not give him more space , i would spend more time with him if i loved him. she may regret her actions, but it doesn't mean he will leave u and go back to her just because they talk. just keep your eyes open and understand that there is always a possibility he may choose her.

the day before she got in contact you and he were happy and the same was true when she got in touch,be the person you are,try not to be jealous but if you and he know her intentions are not honorable and she is just trying to turn him against you you will have to have THAT talk,,the one where she is making trouble where before there was none.she had her shot and missed,,now its your turn.he needs to understand that with her in the picture making trouble you and he wont be as happy as before and there is no reason for this.

Give him space to talk to his x online who now has feelings for him???? Absolutely not! If he is truely happy with u then he needs to let go of his x completely. You need to tell him that u are very uncomfortable with him talking to her online and see what he says. If he insists or gets mad then u know that you are not that important to him.

Well, guess you gotta decide if you should trust him; or nag him constantly about his ex and drive him away. If they are only talking online......probably nothing to worry about.
