I am a devout Christian and even I know I am a sinner. Tchaikovsky's music is beautiful and his being gay doesn't add or detract from his music. Tchaicovsky has to answer to God and I am not God nor should I take God's place. Love the sinner hate the sin. Don't call homosexuals evil because I have done evil things too, but call homosexuality a sin. Btw, Divorce is a sin too which a lot of Christians are guilty of. If you want to attack the church, divorce would be a much more effective weapon. I wish people who don't like the Church would remind the Church that divorce is a sin. You would be making us finally admit and confront our most prevelant sin that we try to bury as deep as we can.

okay, no I didnt know he was, I am a Christian and I am NOT for gay rights, I believ it is imoral, however as Christians we are told to hate the sin, love the sinner, so although I wont be holding up any pickiting signs to support gay rights, I also wouldnt boycott all things that are done or created by gay people, their talents are not their own, God gave them talents, it shouldnt matter what else they do, we should pray for them...Also if we were to boycott all things "gay" What would our closets look like? Make Up? Ever got a great male hair dresser who was gay? Or what about the average teenage boy in school who feels hes gay, do we teach our child to stay away from him, or do we teach our child that God is love, and we need to have understanding and compassion for everyone, even when they are sinners, remember "he who is without sin, cast the first stone" In my opinion to be homosexual is a sexual sin, one of the worste in the Bible, RIGHT there along with adultery, ponography, prostsiution, and orgies ... Should we also "Boycott" Everone who is guilty of sexual sin, because my guess is we wouldnt even be able to turn on our TVs, listen to the radio, buy almost anything, or go anywhere.....

I am a Christian, and I have a gay son. I love him. He is a talented, beautiful, human being...and I would hope that people would see his creations (he designs jewelry, and is a character actor, among other things) and appreciate that a sensitive and terrific person is behind those creations.

Being gay is not something I would have chosen for him. It is a very difficult lifestyle to live. His peers (he is nineteen) are not in monogomous relationships...so I worry about him and his being sexually active. The same way I would worry about him if he were heterosexual and sexually active.

I do not like some of his choices...just like I don't always like some of the choices other people make...and I don't always make the right choices for myself.

But I love him...and others... and myself. We are all trying to find our place in the world and where we fit into the overall scheme of life with God.

I can't control other people. All I can do is love them sincerely and be honest in my communication with them. I am too busy trying to find my own way to judge or criticise where other people are with their lives or what they are doing or how they are living. It is between them and their God.

The God I understand loves us all....and wants us all to be saved. That is the bottom line for me.

And between now and the time I meet God face to face, and He explains all mysteries to me, I choose to love and appreciate the creativity of every person on the face of the planet. Every positive contribution to the body of creativity in the world, enriches our lives, no matter who it comes from.

There are lots of gay people who are wonderful people. I dont' hate them, I just don't approve their lifestyle, and I don't want it being shoved down my throat. There are pleanty of great gay people. Not liking the lifestyle is not the same as not liking the person. It's not right to stereotype.

Age has nothing to do with mental capacity.

Being gay has nothing to do with life's gifts.
So why are you trying to make it an issue?

So many of the talented people of the world are, and have been. So, what is your point? Are you just jealous you do not have talent?

I'm not old enough to have known him personally, and I don't think that you are old enough to have known him personally either.

Why do "gays" try so hard to rewrite history to say that everyone in history is like them?

Even if he was "gay" in a homosexual way and not in a happy way, it's still a serious sin.

Do you think that matters to us? I am a Christian, and personally I wouldn't care if my own father was gay. I respect it.
