We've answered this about a hundred times. If the job has a zero tolerance policy for weed, and he fails a drug test, he will not be employed there. Prescription, no prescription; smoked in Amsterdam, WA, CO, in International Waters; smoked at home, in the job, in his car. Just like a bus driver can be fired for taking a legally prescribed Percocet and then driving a bunch of kids. In states where it's fully legal (WA, CO), it will likely be treated more like alcohol where as long as you have no THC in your system at work, what you do at home is your choice. That would usually mean a clean pee test but a positive hair test. If this man is using pot regularly, he probably should not be driving or looking for work in fields where drug use of any kind is an issue.

There are some, but none that don't have other treatment options. Even if med. marijuana proponents insist marijuana is 'best', then way not take it in a pill form?
Medical treatment is by and large a ruse so people can have an excuse to take their drug of choice recreationally and legally.

In the state of California - if you have back pains you could get prescribed to use this drug. Also cancer and other bad Illnesses
