Does anyone know Adobe Photoshop Limited edition [version 5]?

How do you get a photo to be black and white, but part of it be color? Thanks!

u have to select the item u want in color (either iwth path or selection tool) and then do inverse selection (apple, shift, i....keyboard shortcut) and go to ur image pulldown menu at top and select desaturate (this makes the image u have selected black and white while leaving whatever isnt selected color)
