A friend once attempted to convince me that the gospels are true by saying that the apostles would not have been willing to die for a lie. I reminded him that five million germans were willing to die for the supposed supremacy of the aryan race. He said he'd have to think about that and get back to me.

I keep seeing questions similar to this, atheists asking "how do we battle Christians". Why do you need to? I think it is out of fear and you can see we have something you do not.
You can have the same peace you know.

Hm.....They quoted bible passages about how I was going to hell unless I convert. Despite that fact that if you don't believe in Christianity you're probably not going to believe that the bible is true anyways.

I suppose treating the bible like a textbook when it is clearly a collection of bronze age myths. Evolution has nothing at all to do with Christianity, I guess their obsession about it compared to say quantum mechanics which is about 100 times weirder.

if it is myth it would have faded out long ago truth stays forever and dirt is still here because we were made out of the dirt not out of dirt kinda different. so what if the bible is from the bronze age its still the most historically sound document in the world with the most copies of it the any other historical document

I hate it when their "proof" that a god exists consists of "Look around you". That is totally lame and just proves how intellectually vacuous they are.
