My dog whiskey Is about 5 years old and still urinates indoors. No matter what I do but I blame my dad for that. Whiskey wont go do what he needs outside on his own my dad has to go with him. Plus my dad doesn't punish that dog for anything he's not supposed to do.
I have another dog a few smacks and put outside and he doesn't do anything in the house.

I have a 9 year old Chihuahua and he is house broken but he does still pee in the house on occasion... I think he does it for two reasons: 1. He just can't hold it any more and we are gone along time/he didn't go before we left; 2. Spite... he gets made at us sometimes and does it to punish us. But like the first person, we still love him. Our 5 year old Boxer NEVER goes in the house and hasn't since he was a pup.

I have a nine month old Shih Tzu. She knows she is supposed to go to the bathroom outside but she hasn't figured out how to tell anyone that she needs to go. At night we crate her so that she can't leave surprises someplace in the house. This works great. The problem is during the day when she is out of the crate. I have to watch her like a hawk to make sure she she doesn't eliminate on the carpet. I figure the real issue here isn't the dog but with me as a dog trainer.

I have a lasa/chihuahua mix. She is almost 2 and she still goes in the house. I am feeling very defeated. I have been trying to housebreak her for about the two years I have had her. She pees on all my throw rugs, so I am continuously washing them. I have another dog who took no time at all to housebreak so I don't know what I am doing wrong. I feel for you, it's aggravating, but you love them anyway.

Our dog is 12 and he never pees in the house. He has been left alone for quite long periods of time and we return to find him with his legs crossed waiting to be put outside.

mine doesnt anymore try duin this:
(it worked 4 me)

whenever he goes to the bathroom where u dont want him to:
make him smell it and yell NO!
then take him where u do want him to go and make him smell the floor and yell YES!
do it like 3 times every time

keep duin that when he pees or poops and it will work.good luck!
