Providing we eat dont get seriously ill?

Your DNA is contantly being damaged and repairing itself. The repairs are not foolproof, and mistakes get made. I think that is the basis of aging.

As i was told by someone we were built to live up to 150 years and more as long as we ate properly and took really good care of ourselves. So i agree with you. It is only logical. I also heard that people did not die in the golden olden days they just sunk into the earth when they were tired of being on earth. (not to sure about that one, it sounds a little far fetched to me)

the second we are born technically the slow process of death has begun. the human body is not very durable, and once the body is no longer in homeostasis death is certainly speed up.

there is no such thing as dying of natural causes, there is always a reason why the body fails and death occurs...
