Should I contine to give my new 7 week old puppy milk mixxed with water? If so should I get special milk or just cows milk?

Did you ask the breeder what the puppy was being fed on? It is not good to change a puppy's food suddenly, so try to give him what he was getting before. Then introduce any new foods gradually. As long a the puppy is eating a good quality puppy food ( not one for adult dogs), then he should be fine on water only. If he is not feeding well, then get the advice of a vet. I have found that too much milk can cause diarrhoea, so I limit the amount my puppies get. However, they are always fed a good dried, soaked puppy food which contains enough calcium for their growing bones.

Your puppy should just be on water now as she's got to the age where she doesn't need it anymore, if you are to give this to your puppy as a treat then give special milk not cows milk unless you wanna make it ill have have runny doo-doo all over your floor

You dont have to continue to give your puppy milk. No cows milk, I have been told that this will make your puppy or dog have worms. After they are weaned then they dont need the milk they need food and make sure that you give it plenty of water.

DO NOT GET HIM COWS MILK!!! This will only bother his tummy. At 7 weeks old, he should be fine with just water, as long as he is eating a high quality puppy food.

A 7 week old puppy , should still be with it's mother, poor baby. I would recommend just giving your vet a call, and asking them, what the best formula to feed it would be. They know what kind of nutrients it needs at that age.

i have a puppy to and this is what i do:
i give it normall water, then once in a while i give it a bowl full of milk. (dont mix them)

NO MILK!!! After a dog is weaned from its mothers milk, it does not need any milk.
Cows milk will make the dog ill, as they cannot digest it.

don't give your dog milk with water. give it water and and regular dog food.
