I think the Popes 11 has the best answer here, Celtic will be the real winners in this arguement. However, wee Barry should have remembered all the manager v player rows in the past...only 1 winner. Bye bye Baz, you turned your back on us, we took you back, you bit the hand again.

For this season the Ulitmate winner will be Celtic, lets face facts Celtic are shoddy in evrery area of the park, they can't kill teams off and they are 17 points clear and have became complacent. What was needed was a battiling Rangers team (The Scottish players looked like they were battling for the shirt), with Ferguson gone Rangers are seriously weakened. He is by far their best player and their only saleable assest. I wondering if this is a factor. Ferguson is probably worth about 2-3M, more than the rest of the players combined, maybe PLG is trying to bring in cash for 3 or 4 players. I hope Strachan isn't watching this as Celtic don't need yet another has been Rangers dud.

The other winners might be Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs - on their day these teams all look prefectly capable of beating Rangers and Rangers may find themselfs 3rd place or worse after this frankly bizarre, undignified and public falling out.

PLG is simply not up to the job. after the St Mirren game he said "The players were nervous about the game" - Rangers nervous to play St Miarren at home? Is this for real, is this the nessage in dressing room, fear of bottom of league teams. None of PLG's signings looks the part, there's no Guttoso, laudruap, gascoigne, Cooper or anyone who comes near the talent expected of Rangers. Okay there has been a lack of cash, but PLG did spend money and spent it poorly. It is apprent that he had no knowledge of Scottish football and based on his signings his knowledge of French football isn't that hot either. He does not understand Scottish football culture and, alough he may well be a world class manager, he is just at the wrong club, made the wrong signings and can not motivate the players. As someone who grew up under the Souness revoultion I can see quite a contrast. The Ferguson vs PLG debate is the first real battle for the heart of Rangers, If PLG turns things around then Rangers will be back and all Scottish football will benefit. If he doesn't Rangers will return to their natural pre-Souness place of struggling with the rest, a return to the Jock wallace era and annonimity.

If we are lookinf to apportion blame, then it lies soley with one disinterested man, david Murray, he is Rangers problem, He is the source of the tension, he is the cause of the Malise

I hope that this is the end of PLG he is not the man for Rangers another one today takes off Boyd(forward) and brings on Rodriguez(defender) when both teams are down to 10 men .
I have just listened to the PLG interview on BBC Scotland and he did not answer what BF has done wrong or what he expects from him the impression i get is that PLG has lost the plot and has just spat the dummy out.
He is making out that BF does not fit in but we need to know what in what way is BF not fitting in and if his case is justified then fine but if he has no grounds for this the just go and give us all a break

Celtic will be the winners from this sorry scenario. BARRY has carried that team this season, l thought PLG could maybe get his act together n turn rangers around but this, l think has shown it was a mistake to bring him to glasgow in the first place. I would take Barry to parkhead in a minute:-) peace

Much as I like Barry, 4.5million to bring him back here when we havehad no money to spend has been a waste.

PLG will get things right eventually, I'm just not sure folk are going to give him time.
