the camry. best selling car in america and very reliable. yaris cant live up to the reliablity of a camry. and also i have learned that new cars are ripoffs and not worth it. go with the used car. if you take car of the car (which you should) warranties are pointless.

The Yaris is good on gas, but is easily the worst car Toyota sells currently. The Camry is a little worse on fuel, but has been a very reliable car. The question for me would be the length of the warranty on the Yaris. If the warranty is long enough to get you to your next car buying opportunity, then go with the Yaris. If not, it is likely better to go with the Camry as it will have better residual value, even with the 39,000 miles already on it.

Does it have to be a Toyota? At the price point of the Yaris, there is the Honda Fit which has similar fuel economy with better design and reliability.

After seeing the performance of the economy class cars in the side impact, I would never buy a yaris over a camry. My wife just got her second camry and it is a fantastic car. At 39,000 miles, the camry is practically new. You should be able to reliably count on that car for another 150,000 miles, provided you keep up with the normal maintenance. That should take you for another 8-10 years of normal driving. The camry is also roomier and more comfortable.

If i've got been you i could bypass with the Toyota Yaris, before everything even however the yaris has greater mileage im distinctly confident that the resale fee is extreme! the reliability is wonderful I surely have a 97' Corolla and it hasnt broken down whilst quickly as!!! they are very fantastic! the only reason the cobalt is better is that with the aid of fact it has a larger engine. u kinda ought to abuse the yaris on the line. however the yaris is extremely sensible and relaxing! yet with the aid of fact the Yaris has a smaller engine its gasoline financial device is extremely good! To me the Yaris is an more suitable deal! yet interior the top its as much as u! good success with ur selection! =)

I would definitely go with the Camry. Of course I am prejudiced since I am now on my third Camry myself. I drove the first one for 9 years and it had over 150,000 on it when I traded it in. I traded my second one in after 60,000 miles just because I liked the style of the 2002 - which I am currently driving. I have NEVER had any of the 3 I owned worked on for any mechanical problems - just regular maintenance. So - I wouldn't worry about it being out of warranty. Out of the 12 cars I have owned in my life - the Camry can't be beat.

I like to buy my cars new as then I can break them in and I know how they have been treated. I know that the oil has been changed and all the work has been done. I think it really a preference though...you get a bigger car or a brand new car....
