Yes. Local pub. Food was good, music okayish, company booorinngg!!! Low point was when some drunken buffoon got hold of the mike just before midnight and tried to sing 'The boxer' out of tune and with half the words forgotten, so we missed Big Ben, then the professional musician couldn't remember how to play Auld Langs Eine!

Yes it was lousy. I went to the supermarket early in the morning and bought snacks and booze...oh and a disco light for fun. As I was preparing the snacks and building some sort of bar for us all I got a slight headache. Next, I began to feel quite poorly so took something for my headache. As the other party revellers arrived I had to go upstairs for my (old never to be worn outside of the house) thick cardigan coz I was so cold. By 9.30pm I felt so ill I had to go to bed. I laid there with flu and only got out of bed today. So yeah, rubbish really. Although I gather everyone else had a great time.

I was at work in Kuwait inside of a server room. If there is a hell i think that may be a brief description of it. Well minus the fact i had a computer and fast internet. Basically I had a new years with no social contact however at 8am local time i called back home and celebrated new years east coast time.

I went and saw Apocalypto in the theatre and Gameworks (just below theatre) was having a super loud party and it was rumbling through to the theatre... it was nausiating, but it felt like I was at a party. It was nice though, missing out on all the CARP from the new year celebrations (you know, vomit and drunken kisses).
