I had ask "what do atheist believe in" in my last questian. I thank you for all your answers. have you ever considered the thought "what if God is real?' Don't you think that He could exist without you knowing it?I don't understand how people can see the wonder of this world and it's provision and not believe in the one who created it! My thoughts are with you all,and may God bless you with revalation knowledge. To me,it takes more faith to believe that God doesn't exist, than does!

If you truly believe that it takes more faith to disbelieve in God, doesn't that make you wonder why we would choose that path?

My husband used to be Atheist. Now he is an agnostic gnostic. When he was Atheist life was pretty bad on me. If i had a spiritual experience or answered prayer, he would explain it away with reason. He would not for a second allow the idea that God provided anything for me. Atheists are able to not believe because they can not or will not see god's hand in the world. They have so much trust in science, reason, and what is real they forget the mystery and wonders of life. At least that has been my experience with the Atheists i know personally.

It isn't reasonable to believe that anything exists without evidence. Humans have made up thousands of religions over the years and if you are going to do that, you would have to believe in them all.

Why don't you worship Zeus, Odin, Amun-Ra, Thor, or any of the others? That is exactly how I feel about your god. How did you get the "faith" to deny Zeus? It really doesn't take faith at all.

It doesn't take more faith not to believe in God. It's just a less comforting belief.

As an atheist I hope that you someday embrace reason and learn to discard theology and dogma and realise your own potential as a human being without any deities. My conviction in my beliefs is no less strong than yours is.
