Last week I decided to foster 4 5-6 week old kittens from the local SPCA, they had asked me because I volunteer there a lot, and I just couldn't say no. So I brought them home last Wednesday. Everything seemed fine. Everyone ate well (Actrium canned kitten food) and everyone drank their water, they were active and loved to play. That night however, one kitten threw up, I called the shelter and they told me that the kittens had probably either ate too much, or they aren't used to the food. So I was settled. Then, last night the smallest kitten, a little female tabby with some calico blotches, threw up all over the living room. These are small kittens, and she threw up a lot. Then he's the problem, this morning I took her and her brother to a seperate room where I feed them to eat first, because the other two kittens in the litter are larger and usually eat all the food. The little female wouldn't eat, she was too interested in me. She is very small, I'm concerned. She has to be hungry!

If this kitten is only about 4 weeks she may have been taken away from her cat mother when she wasn't quite weened yet. I'd go to a pet store and buy a kitten bottle and kitten formula and nurse her. I myself would also adopt her because there would be a bonding when you bottle feed a tiny kitten.I found a small kitten who's mother had been hit and killed by a car the vet said that she was about 4 weeks old. My neighbor took in her brother. The brother was fine but my Ginger still need to nurse. We bonded more than with any cat up until that time.I'd give the kitten formula a try.

Try giving them all Royal Canin Babycat food. You can get it at Petco or a pet food store. My kittens usually have no problems with this because it is made for baby kittens. If that doesn't work, go to the vet!

Make sure the kittens have water at all times; as for food, I suggest a dry food specifically for kittens, rather than "wet" food, as they can eat at will, and not feel "rushed." When they are hungry, they will definitely eat; until then, don't fret unless a substantial period of time goes by and the food isn't disappearing.

you have not have been given any employer in any respect getting a kitten or a cat if it somewhat is going to be undertaking to the abuse and absence of care you're offering. sure, putting a kitten exterior is abusive. no person would desire to get any animal that they are able to not take care of suitable - extremely not people who want one on a whim and would desire to motel to manipulative potential to "convince" unwilling kinfolk individuals. What in the worldwide do you want with a kitten whether it can not be a area of the kinfolk? - the completed kinfolk - not basically one little lady. Disgusting.
