Gosh, if that were true, don't you think we'd have all the schizophrenics cured?
It would be so cheap and easy, and wouldn't have any side effects.
However, in the real world.... no.

Im not too sure if it can cure a flat out psychosis, but music can do all sorts of beneficial things.
But,like I said, a psychosis..Im figuring it cant. It may help, as in soothe or make feel better, but to eliminate it altogether, Id highly doubt it.

I wouldn't go so far to say "cure" that's a big order but to say "soothe" would be better, have you ever heard the quote "Music soothes, the savage in the beast" ? so it would be a psychotic adventure, if you could say that.
