i need/want a short lens for my Canon AE-1, and i've checked all of the new and used places. i asked the guy who sold my parents my camera (last year's christmas present---BEST EVER!!! thx mom&dad!) my photo teacher, some professional peoples, and i still haven't found anything. if you could help, i'd be forever grateful!

The AE1 is in incredible camera. I have a bundle of lenses for it, but I gave the A1s to my son and he will not give tehm back.
Go ye therefore to www.keh.com and when it opens up, click on store, go to 35mm format, click on Canon, click on A1 or AE1, they take the same lenses, and then click on the lense type you want. They have a large source of Canon lenses, aftermarket lenses, etc.
Any FD mount lens will work.

Shutterbug Magazine will have tons of sources and of course ebay. you'll find used lenses at all these palces and sometimes a pawnshop is a good place to find such things

Ebay. Just be sure to ask if the lens has any scratches, fungus, or other wear. I've had pretty good luck so long as I deal with someone with good feedback.

google it and try ebay... you are looking for a 50mm macro.
