it is like it has popped i have been on antibiotics but there has been no change for a week

If you have gone very deaf, or this has not happened before, get referred soon to an ENT doctor. Sometimes the inner ear is affected -- look up Sudden Deafness..

Your sinus passage is connected to the Eustachian tubes, which are connected to the ears. I'm guessing you have/had a sinus infection? It will clear eventually.

Happens to me when I get a cold, it's most likely due to sinus pressure and congestion, though if you're concerned, talk to your GP.

This happens to me when my ears are blocked with wax :Go see your Doc or better yet an ENT Doc

don`t worry your hearing will come back its just all the gunk from the back of your throat and nose blocking your ears, ifyour worried speak to your practice nurse who might take a peek to reasure you.

this is almost certainly reversible. I had this trouble a while ago and it took a couple of weeks to return to normal.

give it another week or so.i am sure it will go back to normal soon. as soon as you are fully cleared of the cold.

Go to your doctors and get your ears cleaned out. I had the same problem and tried to stick a cotton bud in my ear to try and clear it, bad idea coz I burst my eardrum and had to go to hospital. Please see you doctor

Could be hardened wax in your ear. See your doctor who should be able to syringe them for you...
