Call for Help:
1. Contact your local shelter, humane society, animal control agency or SPCA.
2. If there are no shelters close to your home, contact the police. It is very important that your British Bulldog is described accurately. It will definitely be helpful if you have current photos of your Bulldog.
3. Walk or ride around your neighborhood. Ask your neighbors, and friends if they have seen your British Bulldog. Be sure to bring along a picture to show them.
4. News Flash! You should post signs and handout flyers in your community. If you ask permission, you may also be able to post signs in your vet’s office, grocery store and other local places.
Include the name of your British Bulldog, current picture, if your pet is a male or female, age, color, breed, weight and any special markings.
Make sure to include a number where your family can be reached if someone finds your British Bulldog.
5. Here are a few websites where people can list their missing dog, or see if someone found their missing dog.

get in touch with the police , wood green animal shelter, and battersea dogs home , send a picture to battersea dogs home with all your details, and you must have had a look around , i now how you are feeling know you must be very up set , it is very irresponsible for a person to make a statement that is not know to be true , this is only going to make you more upset think that your dog is being made to fight, i bet he is not far away and and will soon turn , up and there is no point in steeling a dog of nine years old for breed, as the puppy's produce would only , be good pet as they could not be showed as they would not be kennel register. as i presume that you have the papers . but dont forget there are some heartless people out there that make statement as if it was the truth not know the facts just to make the preson feel worst than she or he already is, i wish you good luck in your search and i bet you will have him back soon bye and take care

Go to http://www.doglost.co.uk/ and get him listed.
These people are all volunteers who will help with posters, searching & publicity.
They will also advise you who to contact.
Have you already tried dog wardens for all surrounding areas?
Council cleansing departments know of traffic casualties which sounds awful but it is better to know :o(
Local radio stations are good too.
Do stress that this is an old boy.
Have you reported this to the police?
Make sure you have a crime number & not an incident number - the former gets sent around the stations, incidents don't get counted.
Hope Gunner turns up soon.

Was Gunner stolen or did he run away?
Dogs being stolen has happened in my area a few times, people steal dogs because they know that the owner will pay whatever he can to get it back. If he is wearing a collar then they may contact you, evil people that they are.
Its a shame when our precious pooches aren't even safe in the back garden. I do hope that someone returns him to you safe and sound.

u could go around u'r neighbour hood and ask where the neighbours saw the dog last.
it might help u.
if he ran away then think of the places that u'r dog really likes. mabe he went to one of them. e.g. the park, or if there is one-a nearby butchers or something.
u never know.
i also advise putting up posters as well as asking around.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
