I usually follow the three-day rule for prepared food, in that if it isn't eaten by the third day, throw it out.

keep the pasta covered it will last a while
IF YOU open the container and the pasta smells sweet that means the sugars in the pasta are going bad that is the day that you throw it a way not the next day but TODAY>

I've kept pasta (with or without sauce) in the refrigerator for 2 weeks and ate it. It was fine. But always check your food for signs of mold. Smell it and look closely. If there's anything odd about the smell, throw it out. If your pasta sauce starts getting tiny little whitish specks on or in it, throw it out. If your pasta without sauce starts getting little dark spots (especially if they're fuzzy), throw it out.

once cook it should be eaten within a week or less specially if it has sauce...but if it doesn't have sauce you can keep it in the freezer then have to boil it again, but the taste is different from the first time you cook it
