I hope as you grow in your search for answers about after life that you are not more confused because there are so many different opinions on this issue.
My personal opinion is that from scripture if we investigate each verse, not leaving any out, that we get a clear understanding and are not influenced by others.

The Bible often speaks about The Kingdom of Heaven-not up in heaven.

The Bible says that we have as Christians a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Next verse clarifies this point, reminding us that we desire to be clothed with our habitation which is FROM heaven.

2Corinthians5

Take in the full passage and its full meaning.

A new earth, and this new earth is called a Kingdom and Christ will be its Ruler and Gods plan for the Christians of this present age is to be here on this earth assiting Christ in his coming Kingdom that will soon be established.

There are many false doctrines that will turn your head and mislead you so my best wish for you is that you find your inner truth lead by the Holy Spirit because any other leading can leave you even more confused.

Don't be afraid of what some may tell you if you happen to commit a sin for e.g.,you will burn in hell, you are damned!
that is not the true inspiring words you should hear, but instead, hear these.
Seek first the Kingdom.
That means the teaching of Christ.
How Christ responds to the world.
You are forgiven for sin when you confess it to God thru Christ.
God did not give us a spirit of fear.
Some try to put fear in you but don't, instead, fear God,and that means- 90% reverence Him in all things, and 10% His wrath.
God gave us Jesus so that we can know how to live our lives on this earth and how to become like Christ as much as we are able and that being by the example Christ gave,
"Love one another as I have Loved you."
The source of Jesus` Love,
Romans5:5
John15:10,
and many others.

Psalms 16:11

Titus 3:3

I believe they do exit.
That's my opinion and opinions are opinions.
Find your truth in Love is my hope for you.

I've always believed there was more than just life as we know it right now and my experiences as a medium have verified that there is much much more. Interestingly, no one I've "talked" to who has passed on has ever used the words heaven or hell -- but they all refer to moving on to the next level and they all describe this level as being a place where the body is shed so that the soul can expand. It sounds pretty cool to me.

I think belief in the afterlife really involves basically having enough faith to believe rather than looking for cold, hard factual evidence in the Bible or anywhere else. Not everybody can have the experiences I've had -- and not everybody believes my experiences were real and that's okay, I understand why they don't.

I guess basically what I'm trying to say is that I believed before and I'm convinced now. I hope you'll keep an open mind and never stop asking questions!

First of all, do you believe the bible is true? Everything you believe relies on whether you believe that the world was brought into existance by intelligent design (God the Creator) or whether you believe the evolution theory that we evolved from ape like creatures into human beings and that everything most likely came from an explosion in the beginning, known as the "Big Bang" theory.

So if you begin to study and become informed on Creation science (which is not taught in schools, as the curriculum does not allow it. You may then see the other side and be able to make a more informed decision. Evolution is taught in the science as though it is a literal fact, yet it has NOT been proven. It is called the "Theory of Evolution" it is simply Humanism, man's idea or belief of how things came into being. So far it is not the "fact of evolution".

You also have every right to hear the other side, other than the evolution theory, is the creation idea. For me as a Christian, I believe the world was created by an intelligent designer, for everything I perceive and see around me leads me to believe that God did create the world and everything we see around us, is so vast, so incredible, that I fail to see how it is even possible that anybody could put it all down to chance and random processes, coming from a big explosion billions of years ago. For me? Everything around me screams design!!! Look at a picture, it has a painter, a house - carpenter/builder, everything around us has a maker behind it, a book has an author. There is not one thing you can see around you that has simply appeared or came from nothing. So if those things, which is so much less than the incredible human body and genetic code, it is easy then to assume that it is highly possible there is a design behind life itself.

But you have to choose what you wish to learn and there are two books I would recommend for you, that you will never hear in your science classroom which are "Lies in the Textbooks" by Kent Hovind. And "Refuting Evolution" by Jonathan Sarfati.

Then, and only then, if you decide it makes sense, the bible will become alive to you, and you will find you can believe in God's word. In the bible it speaks of a real Hell and a real Heaven in LITERAL terms. It is not symbolic or story telling. AT least not if you believe the bible is true at all.

For those who do not believe, they will ridicule heaven and hell and why would they not? For if they don't believe in the bible, then why should heaven and hell even figure into their mind?. For those who do, they will realise how seriously they need to take this on board, as it means everything. If it is true, what does this mean for all of us? If it is not, nobody wins. IF it is, the loss of eternity is a frightening prospect to gamble with.

I hope that helps.

God bless.

Life after death is a phenomenon beyond the comprehension of a common man; leave away an young man like you.
In bible, Life is considered as a source of energy. ( Jesus) In physics, it is said that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Rebirth should not be defined as a similar physical Resurrection of the previous birth. Life is undefined. No body has seen life. All see only symptoms of life. Then what is life? Is it the heart beat? Is it the brain functions? Is it the breathing? Even the doctors cannot say clearly. It is that unique energy that takes various shape on earth. It never dies. It cannot be destroyed. So once extinguished from one form , it takes another form. That is what is called rebirth.
it is slightly difficult to assimilate.......

It is good to ask questions, Entzz.

There is life after death. I think Hebrews 12 mentions several levels of the after-life. So the terms "Heaven" and "Hell" may be groupings to show relatively, better and worse.

Jesus used terms like: "the bossom of Abraham" (when teaching the parable of the rich man / poor man)
:"This day, you will be with me in Paradise (not Heaven)" to the thief on the cross beside Him
:(Mat 11) John the Baptist was the greatest (prophet) born of woman, but the "...least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he" - (so John was great, but didn't make it to Heaven. John, although he got a revelation, never decided to join Jesus)

Where we go in the afterlife depends on our level of love or of prejudices ("What you bind on Earth will be bound in Heaven. What you loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven"). In other words, if you can't get a long with a cetain type of person, and they live next door to you in "Heaven", then the after-life would be Hell for you

Judaism has no official dogma regarding what happens to the soul after death. In truth, Judaism barely spends any time discussing what may or may not happen when we die, this is because Judaism focuses on this current life. Therefore, we don't believe in the existence of either heaven or hell. There are some loose theories of what might happen to the soul when one dies though: * When we die, our souls are cleansed of any wrongdoings. This is done by our accounting of every action done in life. It's believed that this process takes no longer than 12 months but most people don't do enough bad in life to warrant it taking a full 12 months. * Our souls return to HaShem to wait for the world to come. * Our souls may be reincarnated into different people so that we have additional chances to work to become closer to HaShem. * Those souls that choose to be truly evil in life, cannot survive the process of cleansing and cease to exist. Note: While some individual Jews choose to believe in heaven or even a hell of some sort, there is no support for this belief in the teachings of Judaism.

Before we can believe in after life (heaven or hell) we must believe and understand that we humans are fully spiritual beings as well as physical human beings. We must grow spiritually as well as physically and emotionally.
The Holy Bible tells us that heaven is a place where there will be no more tears,no more pain, and no more death. Hades or hell is a place seperate from God's love where we experience everlasting torment and death. I know which place I want to be in the afterlife.

I have found unity with God in unconditional love within my own heart. "The kingdom of God is within you" I think fires of hell has been distroyed by all the baptismal water flowing into hell. The bible is very obscure. The bible has its roots in the vedas, siddha yoga, vedanta philosophy and hinduism. At 14 you're suppose to wonder about this. I'm 18 now and I've pretty much gotten over this. You have to go through this for yourself. If we tell you stuff, you won't really get it unless you do the research yourself. Don't just take anybody's else's word for it though.
