Yes
Even worse tho are the people who dont signal and change lanes anyway
Even worse than that are the people who leave their signal ON after changing lanes FOREVER

Yes it does suck. What I do is I just kind of slowly move over until I get onto the high way. People to day just don't give a s@#t about any body else. Their is no road courtesy and no respect any more. Allot of people don't even use their signals and some just get in front of you just to make a turn in from of you it doesn't make and sense as to why people act so stupid when they drive. And the worst is when you see some body with like a BMW or an Infinity they think that they own the road because they have a expensive peace of crap just like every body else. I mean what the hell makes them so damn special any way?. I'm not done yet. Finlay people that are A$$ Ho!e$ that drive SUV's why do you have to tail gait every body? They are driving some thing that does not Handel well and has the acceleration of a ford fiesta WHF is your problem? just drive and put your ego's aside people.

I will totally agree with you! I always let them in just because i know how i feel when i can't get it! I never really understood why people are such *****! like if you have your blinker on and your trying to get in for a good reason i will let you in . .but i must say there are incidences where i won't! Liek if you are stuck in traffic at a light and there is a left turn only lane someone wizzes up that trying to get into the right hand lane like 3 cars back from where the line starts i will stop at nothing to let them in! its kinda like in school when someone used to try to cut you in line and u and ur friends would squish together so the cutter couldn't cut! its a mean world out there so its either BE aggressive or GET aggressive!

Not as much as I loathe the jerks that think they can push their way into my vehicle just because they have their signal on!

It's give & take on the roads. It's all about the context of the merge. Are you being a dick or are the other drivers?

If traffic is merging anyway, I let ONE person per lane in front of me, no more. Unless they don't signal, in which case they're gonna have to outweigh me to take the lane.

Turn signals are supposed to signal your intention to turn, not to signal others to make room for you. You still have to watch for a break. That said, yes, it's a matter of common road courtesy to give the other driver a break. Sometimes there'll be a turnoff ahead, and with nobody letting you in the lane, you'll be forced to miss the turn. I've traveled extensively, and no one area has a monopoly on bad drivers. I even drove a truck through Nashville, and with my turn signal on for over a mile, everybody was still pulling around and passing me in the lane I had to get into. Finally, with seconds to spare, I had to act like them and just force my way into the turn lane. I'm not proud of it, but they forced my hand there. Now, with any vehicle, big or small, I give myself plenty of time to change lanes. We learn as we go...

Obviously you're not doing it right. Turn signals are not for asking permission. Turn signals are for indicating to other drivers what you ARE doing, not what you would LIKE to do. That being said, the proper time to signal is when you have started your lane change, not before. Don't give the bonehead a chance to block you. Surprise him. This indicates to the other driver that you are not asking his permission to change lanes, it's just a way of saying "excuse me". Another handy trick I learned when I had a big old Ford sedan is that if the guy in front of me is trying to get over and the idiot next to me speeds up to block him, I swerve toward the idiot next to me, causing him to slam on his brakes, therefore giving the guy in front of me plenty of room to change lanes. I know. I'm a giver.

Yea, it's annoying, but I'm used to it- so what I do is signal before I want to get in (if traffic is moving) because I know that car will speed up ( heaven forbid he doesn't win the race) or just go without signaling if it is slow traffic, and then give a thank you wave.

I personally will not warn the car tell I actually Go in front of them than I use my blinker after I already do it to anger the driver and will let like 5 cars in front of me too, buts thats rare since I really do not care about the driver nor waste my time. I will usually only let like 2-3 cars in front of me than i stop cause you can only be nice to an extent.

it is frequently a stable theory to apply the turn sign while changing lanes, particularly while shifting over to the suited. it is as a results of "blind spot;" you won't be in a position to continually see a motor vehicle at the back of and to the suited. additionally, do no longer replace lanes speedy. pass over slowly, so if there's a motor vehicle interior the blind spot, the motive force will honk the horn and you're able to react earlier there's a collision.

I have a solution for you, sell whatever car you are driving, and get one of those enormous Ford Bronco truck, or similar-size SUV or truck, slam some titanium front and rear brush guards mounted 1-2 feet away from the bumper, install a trailer hitch with a hitch extension mounted upside down with a ball attached to it, get a good chrome or/ titanium side step and mounted it 1 feet away from each side of your truck or SUV, and finally put a
3-6 feet lift kit on it, guaranteed you won't have that problem anymore.

I know from experience, so I now have a similar setup on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE except that I also have a pair of PIAA HID fog & driving lamps attached to my front and rear brush guard for those idiots who flashes their high beam or slam on their brakes afterwards.

Of course, the other solution is to buy a semi or a Hummer ( H1 or H2 only ).
