If there's some fireworks between the two there's nothing wrong there--in fact a big age difference can be quite a rush. The younger person makes the older one feel young and energized again while the younger person get to tap into all of the wisdom that only an older person can provide.

If they are both adults, fine. For instance, a 50 year old and a 25 year old is ok. However, as you get younger, a man being twice as old is not recommended, for instance a 26 year old dating a 13 year old. There is no definite cut off between the two, but as I said, in general, if they are both adults, it's fine.

Go slow with this pursuit. After all, you have twice as much experience as she does so you should be able to tell if she has any interest in you romantically or if she is seeing you as a father figure. Don't rush. You could lose what friendship you have with her.

yes you can pursue it provided you have the energy to woo the woman. some women want more of the nice thing and it could be a strain.
