You can buy cheap solar panel like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/SOLAR-PANEL-12-VOLT-BATTERY-CHARGER-CAR-TRUCK-BOAT-RV_W0QQitemZ330069727072QQihZ014QQcategoryZ14951QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem connect it to a battery like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Volt-7-2AH-Gel-Cell-Hobby-Battery_W0QQitemZ260064398261QQihZ016QQcategoryZ34063QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem and DC to AC converter like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/12V-110V-150w-CAR-POWER-INVERTER-LINCOLN-NAVIGATOR_W0QQitemZ290067392437QQihZ019QQcategoryZ79816QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Connect them together and you have good power source for your electric cooker or other small appliance. Remember it will take long time to charge the battery with such a small solar panel. Big panels are expensive but you will prove the point with it.

The oldest one is waterwheel. I am pretty sure you know how it works, it serves water and kinematic motion thanks to its axis.If you want something more sophisticated, waterwheels can produce for example electricity using electromanetic induction, using a dynamo.

What about wind sailing? Also windmill is well known and easy.

If you want a real project, big enough, to be built in real world then

Check any of this two companies (see links). You will find big real projects in place and serving "green" energy today.

Both are over 10,000 employees, both have installed over 10,000,000 KW, both build energy generation centers using solar, wind, biomass, or any "green" energy source, both operate worldwide (even in USA). They have representatives worldwide.
The model will depend on where you are, what natural sources of energy are available over there, how many KW or MW you want and what is your purpose (are you into electricity business or want to be? or do you want energy only for your own use ?)

After you answer those questions, ask them. If you cann t, dont hesitate to message me, i love contributing to green energy development my e-mail is available at yahoo answers, then i will address you to the right point.
