Abosolutely. You can never be to carefull...especially if you need to return to the manafacturer or store. They''ll try anything to get out of paying up or replacing. if your child manages to injure them selves on an item and you fall out side of the manafacturers recommendations you dont stand a chance.
Plus, there also there to help ensure a childs safty.

Since the manufacturers made the product, they would be the best person to know how to install it. That is why it is important to follow manufacturers guidlines especially on childrens equipment.

To avoid injury and accidents, if a piece of equipment is designed for 5 to 6 year olds for example it would be likely to get damage or broken if it was used by a 12 year old child who would be twice the weight of a 6 year old thus the strain on the equipment would be far to high, It also means you won't spend so much time at the hospital

This is to do mostly with the safety aspect. The manufacturer has tested the product and has come up with the best and safest methods of usage. (If you haven't followed manufactures guidelines, you might be sabotaging your legal rights)
