Well, usually marriage is a more sacred than a bf/gf relationship! A married couple makes vows to each other and promises to stay together thru the good and bad times in front of their family and friends! A bf/gf relationship is not that deep plus you are considered single and can get out of the relationship without losing your house, retirement plan, having to pay alimony and ect!

Boyfriend and girlfriend is what it is , boyfriend /girlfriend no financial commitment , no strings attached " bills"bank accounts.
Husband and wife are financially stable and share expenses as in bills , medical , and responsibilities now im a lil confused about the sex part ? of what you said? sex is sacred and some people choose to have sex before marriage , some after its how YOU handle the situation, that makes you special , if you would rather wait thats great too.... good luck

i think the marriage thing is more devotion than a bf gf thing... i think the bf gf thing is just two people in a relationship trying to find out if they want to spend the rest of their lives together...the marriage thing is when two people know that they are right for each other and they want to spend the rest of their lives proving it to one another.

it's like Spiderman says (or his uncle I guess) about how with more privilages/power comes more responsibilities.
dating has less responsibilities and obligations, but less of the privilages (like sex, kids, etc) that come with marriage. (that's a more conservative view than i personally hold, but it makes sense.)
so maturity is required to move up the intensity of a relationship.

bf and gf w/benefits it's playing house...sex included
husb/wife hope you know what that is..... look at your parents.
