I was actually over joyed by the fact that someone asked this question. It was like you read my mind and I was very happy to offer up a answer and some of my experience. I met my husband 17 years ago. I knew I had some feelings for him and that I felt something for him but I knew it wasnt a deep love. However we married had children and we are still together. I love him in the way that he is the father of my children and that he takes care of us. I care for him as a friend and as someone who is caring. He also feels the same way. The only actual time I use the word love is with my children. I know what loves is when it is the love of a parent to her child. But the only time I was ever in love with a man was with someone that married someone else and even though he had feelings for me he went on to stay with her. So I say yes you can make a relationship work if and only if you both feel the same way. If the other person thinks you are in love with them and your not...then that is unfair. If that person realizes this is not a love relationship then it can work for as long as you both want it to. THeir can still be sex and closeness and fun...Good luck

What kind of relationship?? Friendship, partnership..? You have to be able to love someone in order to forgive. Since all the relationships go through stress of life.. without love it is that much more difficult to deal with that stress. As much as I would LOVE to say yes, it is possible, my answer is no, it is not.

depends on what type of relationship you mean. You do not have to love the other to have a relationship; just caring for each other is enough to have a relationship.

I personally do not think so - however people do get together for different reasons some for convenience, some for companionship. There should be love there but it depends if you are happy with what you have got or if it will ever be enough

Unfortunately, good sex alone will not last forever. Love definitely improves your odds.

No. Because, that's taking someone's heart hostage for your own benefit. Let them date someone else.
