i jog everyday

I used to do it and loved it. By doing it, I lost 40 pounds quickly. I live in Vegas and here in the desert, it can get a little bit hot, so i used to jog 4 miles a night, before I went to work. (i worked the graveyard shift at the time) You'd think I'd be wiped out after jogging so much and working all night, but it gave me alot of energy and I felt great throughout the day. I can't believe how fast the weight dropped. The compliments were great. My only advice is make sure you have good shoes, make sure you carry some protection from stray dogs that might chase you. It's sounds kind of funny, but it did happen to me and it was scary. Oh, and also take a walkman. When your listening to something you enjoy, then your jogtime will seem like half the time. Which bit are you asking to be "good or bad" - the addiction to jogging or jogging in the streets?

jogging in the street is not bad - if you are conscious of cars and don't put yourself in danger of getting hit by a car.

But if you are concern that you are "addicted" then may be you need to rethink. There have been some concern of people becoming addicted to exercise and this has become a health problem instead of it helping you to be healthy. I have seen a report on TV of this one woman who goes to gym at least 6 hours a day everyday or if not at the gym she just walks and walks - and she just can't stop it. She looked terrible! NOT healthy looking at all but lost A LOT of weight to the point of sagging skin and looks droopy and anarexic.

Any sort of exercise is a good thing. It's definitely a better addiction than drugs and alcohol. The one advice...just be careful when jogging across streets or on the side since you do have cars out there. Wear something reflective if you are jogging at night.

thats not bad at all ur aim is to exercise.....not to see where are u exercising..street jogging is a goood
