Easyjet is a very good airline, I used to fly them every week and have never had nay issues with them, I would strongly recommend them above Ryanair its main competitor in Europe.
The service is good, if you miss your flight they will be happy to transfer your ticket to the next available easyjet flight, you may have to pay more if your ticket if the flight is full for example.
It is best to shop around in todays competitive market, you may find someone like Thomsonfly might be cheaper or even BA.

Hi,,, I used Easyjet 4 times this year and found them to be safe and timely..... I would recommend them for everyone....

I have never used Easyjet and never will. Somehow, the prospect of a mad rush for seats (they don't pre-assign seat numbers) pitted against drunkards and hooligans does not appeal. But that's just me... :-)

Its as safe as any major airline. Safety is their main priority.
And no need to worry about drunks. Someone who is drunk isn't even allowed past the boarding gate.

My wife has made two flights Alicante (Spain) - Midlands (UK) and back and she is full of praise.
If I did not think it was 100% safe, I would not have let her fly Easy-Jet.
