with maturity comes intelligence and wisdom and one doesnt want a an unintelligent person .truthfully. one should be commited to oneslf maturely before commting to someone else and girls dont want uncommitment +immaturity.

This isn't anything new. And the reason is the same as always: financial security- and hopefully maturity. This leads to the real reason, these things make for good fathers, men who will stay around and be be able to care for children.

Many women are smart (too bad I can't say all women are smart). We don't want to be a "mommy" to our boyfriend/spouse. That honor is saved for our actual children. If a guy can't grow up emotionally, than he should not be in a relationship. If that is the case, stay home with your real mommy and eat chips, play video games, etc.

I think today's woman is wise, she respects her love and is responsible towards it. I don't think there's that sort of any trend out there ?
