Blacks say " Black is beautifull & i'm black & proud". Yet they chase white girls or black girls with fair light skin to have whiter or lighter skin babies. Look at most famous Black celebrities in men. Tiger Woods, OJ Simpson, Koffi Anan, James Blake...etc. Every bar or night club i go to, i only see black men trying to hit on white girls while the black girls are sitting alone & getting no attention. Most disterbing is they don't want to be called Africans or African_Americans. Asian girls are doing the same. Most looking for a white boyfriend cuz they want their babies not to have the flat nose or the small eyes. ARE PEOPLE RACIST AGAINST THEIR OWN RACE ??? I have dated girls of all races & never let the race be my preselection priority. I look at the girl & not her color & if i like her, then i ask her for a dance. I was married to a black lady & a blonde & i'm white. I think white people are not racist against any color, but blacks & Asians are racist against their own.

They just have a preferance. Some African Americans and Asians feel they should have light skinned children so they try to be with white or very light skinned people. Others feel that dating in their own race is the only way to go. And others do not really care who they date cause it's the way the person treats them. Everybosy has their own personal preference. It is not being rasist at all.

Why does it matter to you who people date? I wouldn't say everybody is going after white people either. That in itself makes you appear racist, and ignorant. Honestly I believe people are way to serious about accepting people now. It's not an "issue" anymore, can't people just live, and not care about what people do? By the way most communities would say there never was an "issue," but more like challenges to be faced and overcome. I believe people have a lot to learn about just accepting people, and that is just the bottom line. People just need to butt out, and not be up in eachother's buisness all the time. I am sure you have your own battles to fight right?

i must say my x-husband was mexican an my husband now is p.r . my oldest daughter is from a white guy ... i just find i get treated better by person of color then i did with a white guy ... not because i want my kids to be mixed its just person of color always treated me better ... some people say im raciest of my own color which happens to be white i dont look at it like that i look at it as how i was treated an know i would never be with a white guy again

Some people are silly like that dating people for their race and not for the person that they are. Not everyone does this.

Lack of exposure to other races can cause racism just like lack of exposure to other countries and their cultures can cause xenophobia.
