There is no medication or wonder drug to gain courage. If some one is sincere enough, the matters of love do not require one to be courageous.
Tell your friend to talk to the guy. If she is sincere, there should be no problem. Of course, she will have to communicate her feelings.

She could get a friend to tell him--if you know how about you telling him? Or she has to confront her fears and march right on up to the guy and tell him how she feels.

maybe he or she can ask a friend to talk to that person and then your friemd can introduce you guys, and then you guys can talk adn get to know each other
